Once a month, I take a salt bath for seven consecutive days, perform fumigation every last Friday of the month, and empower all of my protection charms every full moon.

I also give offerings to my spirits allies on a regular basis to maintain my connection with them so they constantly protect me and my family against psychic and magickal attacks.

But before I conduct every ritual, I ask the blessing of Dakilang Lumikha (I prefer to call God that way) as a sign of reverence. I work with spirits but I don't worship them.

Indeed, I agree that some spirits can work with us as spirit allies. I think spirit allies must be treated with respect and it's very important that you should know their nature, likes and dislikes if you want to work with them. Like humans, they also have their own personality and prejudices.

I agree. Each spirit has their own preference when it comes to offerings, regalia, and altar set up.

And I think giving them offerings is just a way to create a strong bond with them and from the offering itself, they get their energies. It's very important for a practitioner to know what the spirit wants as an offering. There are protocols that must be observed if you want to work with spirits as your allies and you can talk to your spirits in different ways such as consulting an oracle or divination.

There are times that will communicate with your through dreams and omens. This happens after interacting with spirits. If in case they won't respond through divination you can ask them to show signs, omens or send messages through dreams...
