With due respect to all beliefs, if it influences to do good as service to others than to self for the highest good, of course imo it’s fine.

For example, Papa Legba, one of the Loas, is syncretized with either St. Peter or St. Lazarus. They started doing this when they were colonized to preserve their religion.

Exactly! In order for the practice to survive from religious persecution and discrimination, syncretism takes place to protect and preserve its teachings , practices and beliefs.....
